I thought it was funny. OK the supernatural element was a bit silly at times, but I thought that that was the film sending itself up. I'd say definitely worth a watch. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Audience Member Art is killer but literally is a whole different story Jake Gyllenhaal, Renee Russo, Toni Collette, Zawae Ashton, and John Malkovich and director Dan Gilroy of 'Nightcrawler' In the contemporary art scene of Los Angeles art is a big thing for collectors and artists The biggest gallery called Haze draws in crowds like Comic Con Morf is the main critic we follow; he's a former member of a rock band and he stumbles onto a collection of paintings by an unknown artist He starts noticing strange things happening as well as people ending up dead Morf finds out the exhibits are actually possessed taking vengeance upon those filled with greed Can Morf and the others escape the deadly supernatural forces of these art pieces? If there's no death there's no art This is way too long and I wanted more of the actual carnage by the paintings themselves It's very clunky execution wise but has a true passion for beautiful imagery plus it presents the idea that our own personal taste is the only real thing we ever have It could've been better but acts as a bloody satire of the modern artworld heavily criticized Rated 2/5 Stars • Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews
